RPAP and The Northern Alberta Development Council co-host the annual Rural Alberta Community Physician Attraction and Retention Conference. This is a place for members of attraction and retention committees as well as interested community members from across the province gather to share experiences, and learn about new initiatives.
4th Annual Rural Alberta Community Physician Attraction and Retention Conference
Thank you to everyone for making the 2011 Community A&R Conference the most successful yet! With over 100 delegates representing communities from all across the province we exceeded our expectations with doubling the numbers from last year! Along with engaging speakers over the two days delegates shared experiences of challenges and successes in physician attraction and retention. Delegates took a reprieve from the content to enjoy the intercultural entertainment of Wajjo where their unique style of combining cultural sounds to produce together truly global music!
