An "Under Construction" celebration held May 16, 2005 marked the beginning of $4.5 million renovation project for the Grimshaw/Berwyn Community Health Complex.
Over the next eight to 12 months, there will be significant changes at the Health Complex that will see the facility converted to accommodate 19 continuing care beds, four acute care holding beds, and one palliative care bed.
The event gave residents of the facility, the community, as well as staff of the Complex, a chance to voice their appreciation for the transformation to come. Mr. Cecil Williams, has been a resident of the facility in Grimshaw since September of 2003. Mr. Williams was called on to bless the facility at the celebration and he shared stories of the activities and life residents there enjoy.
